dancing girl aesthetic

If you're considering sending us a manuscript, it might help you to know what we're all about. We particularly look for work that has a strong sense of image and music, cohesiveness as a manuscript, interesting and surprising, sometimes unusual, use of language. We love humor when done well, strangeness, wackiness. Hybridity, collage, intertextuality. Manuscripts that create their own worlds.

Authors we love:

Larissa Spzorluk, Olena Kalytiak Davis, Christine Hume, Mary Ann Samyn, Sarah Manguso, Julianne Buchsbaum, Arielle Greenberg, Sabrinah Orah Mark, Simone Muench, Karen Volkman, CD Wright, Jean Valentine, Louise Gluck, Rita Dove, Carolyn Forche, Eavan Boland, Claudia Rankine, Anne Sexton, Sylvia Plath, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, ee cummings, Mina Loy, Gertrude Stein, Lorrine Niedecker, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Dorothy Parker, WB Yeats, TS Eliot.
